I sort of gently backed away, and brought up the issue at the reception desk. The receptionists explained, somewhat more calmly, that BA have removed access to the noodle bar in their contract with CX.
Is this new? Have I just been lucky before? Is this a global phenomenon? WHAT'S GOING ON?
If the chef said BA were really rude, clearly he's had some kind of run in with someone from BA at some point.
Fancy not having access to the noodle bar in a CX lounge. That's one of the main reasons to visit their lounges. I'd love to know what the price premium is for access to noodle bar vs no access to noodle bar.
