Here is the only site I could find with electronic visa's for China and it is for a 15 day group e-visa so you have to have at least 2 people on it. Due to the overwhelming feedback I shipped off my passport and materials today for an expensive rush visa--what I saved on airfare I spent on the visa! The company I used is in Houston near the Chinese consulate and they said I should have it back by Friday (consulate is closed on mon/tue). I appreciate the feedback and advice. This may now be a solo trip but I'm sure I will have a great time seeing all the site in a day and half.
