Struck this (anomaly?) today when looking to book a fare to UK, admittedly the PE fare is about $1,000 higher than usual in my experience, so it is probably overpriced PE rather than 'cheap' J that is the factor here - we also experienced the same thing last year flying to HKG where it was cheaper to pay to fly in J than PE (and that was on NZ metal).

I guess it comes down to particular flights and loadings but it does seem crazy..... in others experience, does this happen often?
