A quick google search of “plane tap water” should tell you why you should avoid drinking any water from plane tanks - they’re hardly ever cleaned and full of bacteria.

Heathrow has bottle re-filling places if you insist on not paying for water... but I would either pay (if it’s on principal of not giving BA your £ then buy at boots) or go without
