Quite confusing... I thought customers that pass the ULTI threshold were identified at the end of every calendar year and the new card then given out at the end of the year/beginning of the following year. Now you say that whilst Flying Blue has recognised that you have passed the threshold they make you wait till the end of your current membership year - which leads to the question whether they then make you wait until the end of the year, or whether the status/card are given at the end of your current membership year? In other words: will you be an ULTI on April 1st? Or will you have to wait until December 2019?

Giving out ULTI memberships throughout the year seems to be something novel. Or are there precedents?
