Question What does CBP require to document the residence of our child as we do not have any documentation with his name and address?
Answer: At the interview today the officer asked for a copy of my drivers license and I also brought a copy of a utility bill. So apparently documentation for the parent's address will suffice to meet this requirement.
He is 12 now so they did take his fingerprints. We've never had any problems at the kiosks, except that they were often too short for the photos.
