On weekends the Jersey City Hyatt can be had for $38 on Priceline. I've been using these stays to rack up quite a few FFNs to use worldwide. The regular internet rates are around $169-$229.
It is about 10m to the Exchange Place path station and takes 5 minutes to get to the WTC station downtown. Usually lots of street parking from 7pm-7am, and all weekend Friday 7pm - Monday 7am.
The views are nice. Almost all the rooms have city or Statue of Liberty views. The hotel is only a few years old ~2 years, and the furniture is starting to show a little wear, mostly stained carpets.
Lufthansa and SAS crews stay there, though I noticed that they are always put on the bottom floors. I think their rate is around $60.
