Complain to barclaycard again making sure you state the word complaint. You have the right to go to the Financial Ombudsman Service if there is no resolution with barclaycard after 8 weeks.
I wouldn't mind receiving compensation in lieu of the missing Hilton points at a rate of £1 per 100 points.
