Does a new number due to fraud reset the 24-month clock?
I'm trying to decide if I should apply for the Citi Premier. I got the card a few years ago and then downgraded from the Premier to the no-fee preferred a little over a year ago.
My account number did not change as a result of that product change.
About 3-4 months ago, my account number was compromised so Citi closed that account and sent me a new card with a new number.
Does that reset the 24-month clock of "opening / closing" an account re: sign up bonus?
