How was the flight? I just booked the PVG-BKK today - USD156 (plus taxes) in biz class. Pretty sweet deal... at least for the lounge ans seat, and was cheaper than Spring Airlines Spring Plus.
There seems to be only one trip report on line... food seems to be a snack. What's the alcohol selection like?
Edited to add - do you recall if you got a fast track voucher/pass for arrival in BKK?
The Juneayo flight experience was fine. But though I was assured by SFO check-in that my bags would be checked through. Not true. Lucky that I checked at the bag claim. But regardless of bag claim and recheck, you are still required to exit through immigration in order to re-entry the system for the connection. (just like in USA). I was able to use my 10year chinese visa, so that was not too bad.
I was just flying economy, so I was not granted fast track. But I have the APEC Biz Travel Card, so that whisks me through BKK immigration in a flash.
