Angry Not receiving e-ticket from BA after purchase

Hi everyone,

I have recently purchased a ticket from Budapest to Mexico City with a transfer at Heathrow. My issue is that I made the account at the same time when I made the booking (user the create account option) and after confirming the payment I closed the confirmation page immediately, thus I don't have my booking reference number and the booking is not linked to my account at all. My issue is that I received the account registration confirmation message right away, so I gave the right e-mail address, but the booking confirmation has not arrived yet, although it has almost been 24 hours. The most important information that my credit card has been charged so the payment indeed went through.
Can anyone suggest me how to proceed from here? I tried to contact them through e-mail, but they said they have no booking under this account. Would it be enough to call their local office and prove that I have indeed payed for the tickets with my bank statement? Thanks for the help in advance!
