SAN is a pain in the ar$e to clear customs. You are required to have your luggage X-rayed after picking it up from the carousel. If your luggage is a little tardy, there is usually a long line for the X-ray machine. This can be negated if you have Global Enrty as there is a separate line that bypasses the need for X-rays.
