If you don't mind taking a cab then there's
Hyatt Regency,Courtyard ,Four Points, Aloft & Renaissance in the city. (All around 18-20 Kms from the Airport around 30-40 minutes) But it might take some more time to reach there during peak hour's.
And if you are not local it might take some time getting used to how people drive in the city.
Also it's one of the safest cities in India so need to worry about that. People are very friendly and go out of way to help if you are stuck.
thank you, i bought the round trip, so I will be back to AMD at a later time for sightseeing, that day is just a layover.
