I stayed at the Courtyard Albuquerque in the Journal Center Business Park.
To be honest, more like a full-service Marriott than a limited-service Courtyard. They even use the Marriott keycards for elite status guests with the Marriott brand logo, not the generic Marriott Rewards or any Courtyard-branded keycard.
Pretty much fully renovated, but some of the old-style design flaws are still present, such as the sink and mirror being separate from the bathroom. Also, no USB or electrical outlets at nightstand. Internet a little slow; no enhanced option.
The gym is huge, but is kind of weird because you have to briefly walk outside and then through the pool to access it.
FYI, the in-room coffee is Starbucks, not the generic Courtyard coffee.
Otherwise, very good.
Was recognized at check-in as an ambassador and all of my special requests were granted.
The $10 daily food-and-beverage doesn't cover any of the hot breakfast items, unless you want a sandwich. Otherwise, you're limited to cold options at under $10.
