With the St. Regis now part of the marriott family...what say you guys? I know there is no comparing the marriotts and sheratons in San Juan to the St. Regis from a hotel perspective, but for a couple who has never been to PR (no kids either) would we miss out on all the PR must sees and must dos if we stayed out at the St. Regis? I see there are attractions 30-60 minutes outside of san juan so regardless of where we stayed, we would have a car but much of the marriotts are close by the hot spots of san juan and old san juan (food, etc) so we could go to the hotspots fairly quickly on foot or shuttle / bus which would be a problem if we stayed at the st regis.
