I would like to do a couple of these trips back to back, without
staying at Dubai.
My questions are:
1. Is it legally allowed to “transit” in Dubai to the same destination where you just came from. The reason I am asking is, that when CX had the very low J and F class fares out of Vietnam just recently, I read, that you are not supposed to fly right away back to the same place where you came
from on the same plane in Vietnam. Is there such a rule at UAE?
2. Assuming it is legal to just turn around in Dubai on different tickets, is it actually doable? Obviously travelling on HBO only, is 70 minutes enough time?
3. I guess you do not have to clear Customs and Immigration in Dubai, just a transit security, is that correct?
4. Does Sri Lankan Airlines usually airbridge or bus gates and how far is it typically to the transit security?
5. I read that it is possible to get a mobile boarding pass for DXB-CMB. In case there is any issue with that, does Sri Lankan have a staffed transit desk at DXB to get a printed boarding pass?

Thanks a lot for your help! Cheers.
Response to your above, as best as I know:

1. Yes, no problem transiting and going back to the same departure destination.
2. This is simple enough, you'll arrive T1, and most likely airbridge, and then walk to the transit area. Look for Desks B, and then check in for your return UL flight. There will most likely be a credit card verification check.
3. Yes, just transit security, and then you'll be dropped back into the departure gates area.
4. They use an air bridge, and usually a 10 min walk to transit.
5. Sri Lankan use a group transit area, so not official UL desks. You can get a mobile boarding pass, but it might fail, as they may want to do a verification check on the credit card for booking. The transit team at Desks B can resolve this for you.
