Long time lurker (and impressed with knowledge on here) looking for advice. Most of my travel to date has been transatlantic, but extending horizons for a big trip down under with Mrs Bluegartons. What's the best way to get a good price for London/Sydney? Even some quick google flights research shows better results than just Ba.com. Any tips or tricks?

Looking at September out with a few days in Singapore, December or Jan back, don't care so much about return route. Dates can easily flex.

This should also tip Avios for USA next year and companion flight - I'll be back for more advice then!
