When I've booked simple roundtrips on EVA in the past, they give you the option to select the fare bucket (out of 5 or so options) for the flights. However, for Multi-City bookings I am just asked to select my flights, and then it gets priced out in a particular fare bucket. For Economy it's the V bucket, which according to wheretocredit.com doesn't earn miles on any *A program. I'm hoping to go up to a fare bucket where I earn some minimal amount of miles, but am unsure how to do so. Anyone have any suggestions for how to make such a booking? Have you tried a TA? It isn't possible for you to pick fare buckets on multi-city itinerary. You can call although I believe they discontinued over-the-phone ticketing though.
