Hmm, lame that DL is serving Lanson in their "top cabin" business class I assume LHR/CDG get something a bit better.
[Okay, checked my files, they had Lanson back in September, and about a year ago they were serving Charles Heidsieck to LHR/CDG, same as AF recently, and that's ~$60/bottle. Lanson is like half that.]

Yeah, it's always bothered me that the champagne is never on the beverage cart on DL (I've always assumed they keep it on ice in the galley, but maybe there are more nefarious reasons...). I'm not sure how you go about asking them to pour it in front of you without coming across as a DYKWIA! The FA serving the aisle usually calls to the galley FA to bring it out.
