My experience is from about 3 weeks ago.
We booked two rooms, the largest terrace suites at Hilton Paddington.
We immeidately called and asked for a rollaway bed to be added to one of the rooms. Without hesitation, the front desk agent rejected our request saying the rooms weren’t big enough. They added a crib to each room without blinking an eye, but refused to add a rollaway.
Upon arrival, we found one of the suites quite small and agreed a rollaway would have been impossible. The adjoining room was much larger and easily could have accepted an additional small bed.
We opted to ask housekeeping for additional pillows and comforters and made our child a “nest” on the floor and she was perfectly happy.
