I think all the low cost airlines are okay as long as you know exactly what you are in for and read the rules, charges etc. very carefully. They all have strict hand baggage size/weight rules and no free food/drinks including water (this includes BA by the way), etc. Maybe rule out Ryanair if this is your first LCC experience as they have more rules than most (eg need to print a paper boarding pass for a so-called visa check if not EU citizen; splitting your party unless you pay for allocated seats). I would pick based on schedule and airport convenience.
