At some point I click on a link of any type. i.e. read a post, go to next page, go back etc. I end up with either a blank page or part of the page and the browser just sits there. Also, when this happens I cannot hit the refresh button to restore the page I was looking at, that takes me back to the forums home page.
Sounds like a network/traffic problem. We haven't seen any increased traffic loads on our server, though. It could be a heavily hit router somewhere between us and you.
When the browser just sits there, does it always stop at the same point in the page?
