Would prefer to see a weekend route to one of the Caribbean islands. It blows my mind that neither AA nor DL run a weekend flight on RDU - BDA, it could be easily handled by a CR9 and would think to have a decent amount of traffic at certain times of the year.
Range (distance flown) isn't an issue but ETOPS Certification & Equipping would come into play here. This would require DL or AA having a regional carrier with an airline & aircraft that is certified and equipped for ETOPS.
