A little help if I may, I'm trying to work a set of flights to suit my needs (as opposed to just hoping you guys will do all the work), but I just need a couple of pointers (before i likely come back with an itinerary for you to sense check/improve). I need to be in NY for a morning appointment, followed by a couple of days in LA before back to the UK (Dublin - as its easiest from CWL/BRS and seems cheaper than the other usual ex-eu)
There won't be a saturday stayover, I can see many options that are DUB-LHR-JFK (i'll try and arrive in NY late in the day to allow be to have the morning meeting and back out of there in 24hrs), I've discounted flying through LCY as it gets into NY at 2pm so makes the 24hrs stopover too tight. I can then pick a direct flight to LAX (so potentially 210TP's ?),
On the return, I'm trying to balance leaving on Friday (PM) and being back in the UK as some point on Saturday, to catch an early Sunday flight back to CWL/BRS) do you have any hints and tips to make this a healthy TP return, without any potentially tight transfers etc (as I'm not the most organised in airports). Is it as simple as reversing the LAX-JFK-LHR (210+140?) or should I be trying something else?
I doff my cap to you guys, even this probably simple itinerary is frying my brain.
