I took a flight with 66 people on a 787-8 last year.

I also flew Qatar in Y over the holidays. On 3 of the 4 flights I took I had a row of three seats to myself, and the loads in economy couldn't have been more than 2/3. From looking through the curtain, the rear cabin of J on the 77W was empty on both 77W legs. On the other flight, both Y and J were pretty full - around 90% or so.

I also saw a video of that Dan guy reviewing the A380 to Bangkok. He said there were 101 onboard in total with just 5 in business and 1 in first.

With the higher fares and lack of sales over the last year, it seems Qatar is unconcerned about the low load factors of their flights.
