Officially, gift cards are not eligible for reimbursement, but in practice they work for AA, DL, WN and other strategies work for AS. In fact, these identical strategies work for the $250 Aspire credit -and- the $200 Platinum credit that you never used -and- the $100 credit available with the Gold card that you currently hold.
