Looking to make my first Rimowa purchase and ideally a carry on/cabin size luggage that is "larger" than the typical carry on.

The dimensions for a majority of the Cabin Plus (11.9 gal) products across Rimowa have the same dimensions (e.g., 57cm x 44cm x 25cm), so I'm wondering if anyone does have this product if:

1) you've experienced issues carrying on US domestic flights (e.g., American Airlines, Delta, etc)?
2) overall recommend this product as opposed to the regular cabin size (9 gal)?
