I watched a very smartly dressed middle aged English couple try to blag their way into the CCR on Friday. The lady persisted to argue for several minutes with the Staff Menber at the podium inside the Secret Door that she was travelling ‘First Class’ - her husband stood quietly behind looking mortified. A gem of a DYKWIA moment. Turned out that she was indeed at the front of her plane, but in Club Europe. Staff member just couldn’t land the point that Club was not First. Another staffer came over and helped them find the Galleries Club. I did wonder, though, how they’d made it through the Secret Door and into the lounge in the first place!
