I did once try to get into the lounge at WDI with my husband. We were flying EDI-LHR-INN all in Y. I noticed that the BA app boarding passes were saying CE for the EDI-LHR sector. Thought we’d try it but got turned away! The Lounge Dragon said a few other people had the same glitch on the app. No we didn’t argue but headed to the Wetherspoons instead!
Presumably, that was during the days of single-class domestic service? I know it's going to be unpopular here, but I feel a properly-run organisation would recognise the IT error's contribution to the situation, let the poster into the lounge, and then proceed to fix the app within days.
