Can someone please help me to decide with Marriott family Vienna hotel is the best if we are using rewards for booking 2 rooms for 4 adults and 2 toddlers ( 3 and 5y)? We have platinum elite and platinum premier so we will get access to lounge if there is one (and free breakfast if no lounge I assume). Which hotel is super kids friendly? We are looking to go for Christmas in the end of this year. We have 2.5mil Marriott points so ANY cat will work.
I highly recommend the Hotel Imperial as the class of Vienna (along with the Sacher and perhaps PH, but those aren’t Marriott). It is grandiose and totally Viennese, so as long as that’s what youre looking for, it will be perfect. Because it’s LuxColl, you’ll get free restaurant breakfast (and it’s a fabulous spread). There is no lounge. But they treat elites very well—though occupancy would be expected to be quite high over Christmas, so perhaps I wouldn’t necessarily expect a major upgrade. The Ritz Carlton may be a nice option, but there’d be no Platinum breakfast benefit and less chance for any elite upgrade or preferential treatment.
