Maybe one should get a quote for a guide only. Accomodation is very very reasonable in Thailand so it's okay to do some shopping around yourself on the internet.

Similarly, there are many licensed tour guides in Thailand. Utopia might be unique in the way that they understand the needs of a the gay traveller and that their itinerary might be different from the norm.

I've gone with friends to Thailand and have just hired the services of the local guides the hotel concierge recommended and for a day trip, that's fine. You can only see so many temples in one week. The rest of the time.. just wander and enjoy yourselves.
