I need to be in Perth in July and elected to fly to SIN on UA (GPU came through on a W fare) and then miles on SQ SIN-PER-SIN. The UA flight is SAN-SFO-SIN-SFO-SAN, so not LAX but LAX or SFO are much of a muchness to me. Just a different route to get to Perth.
