Anytime im flying from international (non EU) Airport, i always checkin at desk and get physical boarding pass (even if mobile boarding pass is available). It’s the checkin desk responsibilities to ensure you have valid authorisation to (transit and) enter your final destination.
Thank you BAEC. Yes one way ticket. To be honest didn’t think about a return as was worried I wouldn’t be credited TPs for the not flown sectors.
Certainly learned my lesson the hard way...
