Thanks for the link Mwenenzi (didn't find it in search) and others for their comments - The 100 GBP is still less than what it would cost to choose Main Cabin Extra Seats and as IADCAflyer mentions, it is giving up a fair number of EQM. I have zero interest sitting in a middle seat for that flight. Seems wrong as an AA Elite but I'll resign myself to the shakedown.
