On the ticket it just said PIECE concept apply so I thought you get 30KG.

YES. Domestic US/Canada travel is different from International overseas flights. So if you're just going from say LAX-DFW-YVR, the above policy applies. Oh.. and that's 2 checked in bags and 1 carry -on. If you have more than 1 piece of carryon and already 2 checked bags, you will be paying more. SOMETIMES AA turns a blind eye towards overseas visitors but generally, the above policy applies. .. YES EVEN FOR F CLASS passengers.
