AA Personal Platinum card. $8k spent last year. First time AF is due. I just called to hunt for a retention offer. There's no waiver, fee reduction or any kind of spending bonus on my account. Agent offered to convert to MileUp card. HUCA. Different agent, same exact experience.

This call was on a Friday morning 8:30am PT.
