Some aspects of Home2 feel a bit lower end than Homewood (i.e.wall mounted soap/shampoo, no conditioner, housekeeping on request only during weekends, etc)

BUT there are some very tired Homewood properties out there and most Home2 properties are new within the past 2-3 years.
