I haven't seen a final date for the abolition of the Border Force Landing Card, to give the current title. The target was November 2018. The core information is now available via the airlines' API data, I think the issue over something called Conditioned landing cards (visa, studying etc) and Non Conditioned cards (short term visitors). Once that is resolved as part of a big Digitalisation project - and current events probably aren't helping here - the cards will go.
