I didn't get beyond the (then in existence) Gold special entrance before being asked who "xxxxx" was. I looked perplexed, then it became clear.

Also had to go back to desk, recall baggage, etc.

The worst part, however, was that I thought I'd been upgraded and was soooo happy... then it all came crashing down. Tough flight that one.
