BARBADOS ANNOUNCES CONCORDE SERVICE FROM NEW YORK IN FEBRUARY
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 1998--In February, 1999,
supersonic travel on British Airways' Concorde to Barbados will create
three one-week package options that are truly Just Beyond YourImagination.
With the Barbados In Style program, deluxe accommodations at four
Elegant Hotels Group properties will ensure quality, comfort and great
style on this spectacular Caribbean island.
Packages are offered through British Airways Holidays and range
from US$3,899 to US$4,719 (per person based on double occupancy).
Included in the package are round-trip air transportation via
Concorde, seven nights' accommodations at one of four deluxe Elegant
Hotels Group properties (Crystal Cove, Colony Club, Tamarind Cove and
Turtle Beach), service charges, taxes and round-trip airport transfers
by private limousine.
Saturday departures are scheduled for February 6, 13, and 20,
1999, leaving New York's JFK at 11:30 a.m. and arriving in Barbados at
2:55 p.m. Flights return the following Saturday, departing Barbados at
5:00 p.m. and arriving JFK at 6:30 p.m. Flight time is approximately
two-and-a-half hours; there is a one-hour time difference between
Barbados and Eastern Standard Time.
