Hi Korealover! I am sorry about the late reply! I just got back from Iceland, it was AMAZING! I am still excited about everything lol!

Anyways, it was actually not hard at all, I was not used to driving in snow or strong winds, however, if you drive with precaution and paying attention to the signs/checking road conditions, you will do just fine.
The roads were actually in a very good condition (main ones). Gravel roads are, well, gravel roads, but I got a 4x4 and I guess that made it easier to handle, so I would definitely get a 4x4.
I ended up getting a regular vehicle (Dacia Duster). I am very pleased with the decision I made and the experiences I had
