I do support punishing any abuse, but the rules were already clear enough to prevent just that, or bill the guest accordingly.

What is the real cost of those stolen minibar items?

What will now be the cost of the whole administration around this? Lost time on conflicts and discussions? And indeed most importantly, the now gone feature of RAs unique characteristic benefit. Looks penny wise, dollar foolish.

There are already hotels with a RA minibar. Will we now also have hotels with a RA minibar price list...?
