Last year Citi was locking cards after about 4-8 weeks and requiring cardholders to call in and verify they were the ones opening the card and sometimes verifying specific transactions. I have not had that happen in the last 6 months or so. Is anyone else still getting those fraud locks?

It seems like they are replacing that with fraud checks upon opening.
