In the most simple terms, can someone please explain to me what you were getting out of FlightTrack that none of the other apps are offering...what problem did Flight Track solve so well? And why was it so important that Flight Track worked with Tripit?
Mobiata FlightTrack had every information needed about a trip (with multiple flight segments) that requires at least 3 different apps today to pull together. This includes grouping flights by trips (because people have multiple trips booked in advanced), details about each flight segment at a glance, details about the aircraft, and more. Finally, the best part about FlightTrack was how gorgeous it was, which made it a joy and pleasure to use. TripIt integration is important because many business travellers book their flights with American Express (Sabre) and all the flight details are automatically added to TripIt. So it is simpler to pull/sync all the flight data from TripIt without re-entering the entire trip into FlightTrack. What else did I miss guys?
I’ve been so disappointed with all the alternatives that I’ve hacked together a FlightTrack like clone to give me all the data in one place. It looks ugly, but i don’t need to open multiple ugly apps to get all my flight info when I travel.
