Congrats, in advance, AuAAdvantage - hey, what will you do with that monicker? "Fist Class" used domestically doesn't actually mean "First Class", it's just what they call it, and it varies considerably between a two - and three-class aircraft, and a 763 and, say, a F100 or a B757. Kind of like the back seat in a Mexico City "vocho" VW Bug taxi and a full-size Peugeot.

F on a 762 gives you meals served at your seat as served courses, in J they are pre-plated. And the "woolly mammoth" seats are legend Maybe with your EXP you will get a double upgrade sometime?

Using your eVP (actual official lAAnguage = Systemwide Electronic VP Upgrades, but I refuse to call them SEVPUs...) you will enjoy a seat that has marginally less recline and legroom (2" less) than the 767-323ER J seat; seats are in a 2 -3 2 configuration, so you could get shoehorned in between two folks... Plus 14-channel video / 12 channel audio in-seat IFE and Bose QC2 Noise-Reducing headphones (but Search for a possible need for an in-line attenuator for $6.49 from Radio Shack if you like the music 'way down low while you sleep.) The kind of menu meal service you will find in J cabin on the AFS 762. I've flown to NRT and LHR several times this year in these; try it, you'll like it.

"Suprising" analysis? Some of us are attracted here precisely because we want / share tons of information. (Someone farr less polite said "what are the first four letters in a-n-a-l-y-s-i-s?" )

Just out of curiosity, what kind of extras does the move up to First on a 767-200 give you over what you get in Business (other than slightly larger seats according to seatguru.com)? Not that I'll ever get to experience that, absent some against-astronomical-odds op UPG.

One other question: since I'll get EXP in September and the use of 8 VIPOWs, how does Business on an AA 777 to LHR, for example, compare to Business on a 767-200 from JFK-LAX?
