There are currently two Design hotels in Reykjavik and one Design hotel in Nesjavellir.

An EDITION hotel is supposed to open this year or next year in Reykjavik.

There was an announcement last year that Marriott is planning 30 new Courtyards in Europe by year-end 2020, including expansion into Iceland. (Such an announcement may represent a goal more than a solid plan,)

Okay, I know these aren't recommendations. I'm just making a statement about the limited footprint of Marriott in Iceland.
