SFO based DM for now, and then Plat by Feb.
I utilize the partner network quite a bit for the EU / Asia flights when I can. Compared to partners like Korean or KLM, DL's intl isn't that great in terms of service.
If I'm using a GUC (global upgrade certificate), we always either have to do a domestic transfer through SEA, LAX, or JFK which are fairly easy to do. Main route has always been SFO (or LAX) - JFK. Service is always nice on these routes and when IRROPs occur, usually due to fog or high wind delays in SFO, I've never found a problem to try and switch my routing.
I mainly fly out of SFO (95% of the time) so can't comment much on OAK/SJC. Pre-check and CLEAR in SFO is easy - can get through security within 5-6 mins. Sky Club is basically 1-2 gates away from security so have time to take a quick shower or grab a drink before the flight.
