DL options from the bay area are not very good. I matched to Plat last year with the intention of moving a big chunk of my flying to DL but the international options in particular are quite poor compared to UA and *A.

It didn't help that DL cancelled OAK-LAX, which I used for connecting.

Unless your primary route is one of the few DL nonstops (e.g., JFK, MSP, or ATL), DL is not going to make much sense here.
