Would showing up on day on travel early and talk to AC ticketing at airport help make this happen? On day of travel, ticket goes under AC control. But then the fare difference would presumably be much higher. Speaking of OTA like Expedia or Flightnetwork, it never shows the fare rules or fare code at any stage of the booking. How do I know what I am actually booking? In this age of transparency, why is this not possible with OTA?
