Today the yellow jacket at my DC WM sold me 2x $999.12s but on the 4th swipe he accidentally hit cash instead of debit so the drawer opened and the MO printed out but I hadn't swiped my 4th card yet. So he asks the other yellow jacket what to do. He said just run the transaction again, and he did but he only charged me for 1 swipe and did the other $1500 on cash, and gave me the 2 new MO. I thought once the MO printed it could not be cancelled. So wouldn't he be short $2K on his drawer?
